OIC Ambassador to the UN in New York, Mr. Ufuk Gokcen recently met with the US Congress members, respectively Honorable Tom Marino (R-PA) and Honorable Christopher Smith (R-NJ) in Washington DC. During these goodwill visits, which were highly welcomed by the Honorable Congressmen, Ambassador Gokcen informed his hosts about the OIC and the state of the US-OIC engagement. Congressman Marino and Congressman Smith warmly welcomed Ambassador Gokcen's initiative to reach out to the US Congress members, and pledged to work together on matters concerning both the US and the OIC.
